The gut is often times known as the 2nd brain. Teaming with microbes, producing neurotransmitters, signaling our immune system- I might even go as far as to say it is our first brain and it needs nourishing.

In my process of healing incorporation fermented foods into my life was a game changer not only in my digestive health but in supporting my mental wellness. As I shifted the diversity of my microbiome, it became easier for me to cope with stress. I was sick less, joyful more often, and my vitality returned.

Taking care of our bodies and wellbeing is more needed this time of year than ever.
